After the Coliseum we headed to the Science Center. It was one of the coolest things I've done in California, I can't wait to go back.
Here's the front of the main entrance - Sam loved watching all of the golden hangings. As the sun moves it catches the colored glass and turns the whole Atrium colors, it's a really cool effect.
Just in case you missed something, they help you out
Eliminate suspects through DNA evidence,
identify the caliber of the gun,

and look at evidence under a magnifying glass. Haley was really good at this part.

Sam, of course, did his fair share of helping Grandma Janet and Daddy.
and look at evidence under a magnifying glass. Haley was really good at this part.
It was so fun to watch Mason and Aidan get really into the CSI, they were all sorts of excited when they discovered they'd correctly identified everything at the end of the exhibit.
After the CSI part we headed into the Drug exhibit they've got going. This was my very favorite part of the museum; there were several different areas chock full of pictures, videos and other information about drugs and their affect on our bodies, economies and families. I got so caught up in reading and watching everything, I totally forgot to take pictures except for these 2. There were some really poignant segments of the exhibit.
Lastly, we went to see Tess, a 50-foot robot who is part of an exhibit to show bodily responses from the inside. You can't see it very well in this picture, but it was pretty impressive. They have sections of each part of Tess exposed to different levels to show nervous, muscular and circulatory responses to stress and activity.
